Snow is melting

Step by step snow is melting in Imatra. Sometimes rains. But temperature is getting upper. however there is a lot of snow on the street, but noe is much more better than before. Last week was ice and a lot of wet snow. But as I saw, people didn't care about it. They used their bicycles.

International day

Today was international day in Lukio, in Fine Art Department of Saimaa University. Here is a lot of students from different countries (Spain, Germany, Russia, Hungary, China, France, U.S.A, Slovakia). Me and Ania baked Mazurek and made also some kind presentation about Poland. And what was amazing in these day?  When I showed movie about Toruń to other student- thay sayid- wonderful city;). Now I know that is truth, that polish people aren't proud of their country. They shoud be. Now I am.

Savonlinna- Nyslott

Savonlinna is a town in the southeast of Finland, in the heart of the Saimaa lake region.The city was founded in 1639, based around Olavinlinna. The castle was founded by Erik Axelsson Tott in 1475 in an effort to protect Savonia and to control the unstable border between the Kingdom of Sweden and its Russianinna.

 It was great trip with my Russian's friends. Landscape of Finland is amazing: very plain, empty and  quiet. It remainds me a sea of sailent. Hovewer, I feel so relaxed when I am watching these views.

Book building- suprise;)

How to make a book? Now I know that is not so difficult but very time- consuming. Cover is made of my monotypes prints and pages from Japanese paper. Our teacher is from Helsinki. It was special, very short course. And book is also for special person.

Observations...

That's right. I coudn't belive when I saw 15degree of  Celcius on the thermometer behind the window of painting class. It was about 12.00 a.m. when i returned after lunch it was only 2 degree of  Celcius . Weather in these week is really great. Beautiful sunny day. Finnly!
